How to Apply Online for SAMS Odisha Plus 2 Admission?

Follow these steps for SAMS Odisha Plus 2 online application:

1. Go to the SAMS website: www.samsodisha.gov.in
2. Click on the “Higher Secondary School (+2) link under School & Mass Education banner.
3. Click on the “New Student Registration” button.
4. Enter Name of the Student, mobile number and email ID.
5. Click on the “Generate OTP” button.
6. Enter the six-digit OTP sent to your mobile (valid for 5 minutes).
7. Create a password (must include one uppercase letter, one lowercase letter, one digit, and one special character) and confirm it.
8. Log in using your registered mobile number and password.
9. Click on the “Application Form” link in the left menu to access the Common Application Form (CAF).
10. For BSE, Odisha students, select “Name of the Board,” “Year of Passing,” “Exam Type,” and “Roll No.” Information will auto-populate. Modify if necessary. Other board students will need to fill in the details manually.
11. Choose at least five Higher Secondary Schools as preferences in your CAF. There is no maximum limit.
12. CBSE students: Marks of the 6th additional subject (Skill subject) are not considered unless a candidate fails in one of the three electives (Science, Mathematics, Social Science). Maximum marks for CBSE students are 500.
13. ICSE students: Eligibility is calculated based on five subjects, including English and the four best marks, as per ICSE guidelines.
14. Optionally, enter your WhatsApp mobile number for admission-related updates.
15. The Permanent Education Number (PEN) field is optional and should be obtained from your high school headmaster.
16. Jharkhand Board students should enter their roll number in the format “Roll No – Roll-code” on the CAF.
17. For online caste certificate verification, enter the Caste Certificate Barcode/Misc. Case Number from the Odisha e-District Application. Fill in all details and submit the application by clicking the “Apply” button.
18. On the next page, pay the CAF fees online via Debit Card, Credit Card, Net Banking, or UPI through either “Billdesk” or “SBI ePay” gateways.
19. If you paid via Billdesk, direct any grievances to kolkatabilldesk@gmail.com.
20. If you paid multiple times through SBI/other Internet Banking/Card Payment, lodge a complaint with the bank for a refund and email agmacp.lhobhu@sbi.co.in with transaction details. Refunds take 15-20 days. Note there is no automatic refund for failed transactions with SBI Gateway.
