Educational Qualification
- Passed +2 or equivalent examination from a recognized institution.
- Completed C.P.Ed./D.P.Ed./B.P.Ed./M.P.Ed. from a recognized board/university.
- Passed the Odisha Secondary School Teacher Eligibility Test (OSSTET).
Candidates with academic qualifications from outside Odisha must provide equivalency proof, affiliation details, and NCTE recognition.

Selection Process
The recruitment process includes:
- Preliminary Examination (MCQ, 100 questions, 1 hour 30 minutes)
- Subjects: Paper-I & Paper-II (as per syllabus)

- Subjects: Paper-II (as per syllabus)

1. Registration/Re-registration
- New Users: Click “Apply Online” on the OSSSC website and complete the registration process.
- Registered Users: Log in with your existing credentials and select the “Re-registration” option.
Note: Registration/Re-registration is only the first step. Ensure you fill out the Online Application form to complete the process.
2. Submit Online Application

- Log in and provide accurate details as per your certificates and mark sheets.
- Upload scanned copies of your photograph and signature in jpg/jpeg/png format (size limits: photo 20-100KB, signature 20-50KB).
- Submit the form after verifying all details.
Essential Documents to Keep Ready
- Educational certificates and mark sheets (HSC, +2, etc.)
- Training certificates (C.P.Ed., D.P.Ed., B.P.Ed., etc.).
- Odia language proficiency proof (Class VII or equivalent).
