  • Maximum Age: 30 years

Educational Qualifications 

  • You must have a graduation degree from any recognized university.
  • Additionally, you should be able to read, write, and speak the regional language of the state you’re applying to.

Selection Procedure

Selection Process Overview

The selection consists of three phases for NICL Assistant Recruitment 2024:

  1. Preliminary Examination (Phase-I)
  2. Main Examination (Phase-II)
  3. Regional Language Test

Phase I: Preliminary Examination

  • Format: Online test with multiple-choice questions.
  • Duration: 60 minutes for 100 marks.
  • Sections:
    • English Language: 30 questions, 30 marks (20 minutes)
    • Reasoning Ability: 30 questions, 30 marks (20 minutes)
    • Quantitative Aptitude: 35 questions, 35 marks (20 minutes)

You must score above the passing marks to qualify for the Main Examination.

Phase II: Main Examination

  • Format: Online test with multiple-choice questions.
  • Duration: 120 minutes for 200 marks.
  • Sections:
    • Reasoning: 40 questions, 40 marks (30 minutes)
    • English Language: 40 questions, 40 marks (30 minutes)
    • Numerical Ability: 40 questions, 40 marks (30 minutes)
    • General Awareness: 40 questions, 40 marks (30 minutes)
    • Computer Knowledge: 40 questions, 40 marks (15 minutes)

You must qualify to proceed to the Regional Language Test.

Regional Language Test

  • This is a qualifying test only. No marks are awarded for it.

Final Selection

  • Based on performance in the Main Examination and qualification in the Regional Language Test.
  • Penalties apply for incorrect answers.
