Jogana Sahayak Keonjhar Recruitment 2024 (JS)
FS & CW Department, Odisha, is inviting applications for the position of Jogana Sahayak Keonjhar (JS) in the following Gram Panchayats (GPs) under Joda Block:
- Balagoda GP
- Guali GP
- Kandara GP
This is a great opportunity for those looking to work at the grassroots level in Jogana Sahayak Keonjhar. The selected candidates will receive a monthly honorarium of ₹8,000.
Key Eligibility Criteria for Jogana Sahayak Keonjhar:
- Permanent Residency: Candidates must be permanent residents of the Gram Panchayat (GP) they are applying for in Keonjhar.
- Educational Qualification: Applicants should have completed their graduation (+3) in any discipline.
- Age Limit: Candidates must be between 21 to 35 years as of 31st October 2024.
- No Criminal Record: Candidates should have a clean legal record with no involvement in criminal cases or convictions.
- No Dual Employment: Selected candidates must not be engaged in any government, semi-government, or private sector jobs during the engagement in Jogana Sahayak Keonjhar.
- Physical Fitness: Candidates must be physically fit to handle the duties.
- Good Moral Character: The candidate should demonstrate a strong moral character.
Job Responsibilities for Jogana Sahayak Keonjhar:
As a Jogana Sahayak Keonjhar, the selected candidate will:
- Work under the administrative control of their respective GP.
- Be responsible for Public Distribution System (PDS) activities and other related tasks as assigned by the Government, Sarpanch, or PEO.
- Receive their honorarium from the GP’s dealer commission and the sale of empty gunny bags.

Selection Process for Jogana Sahayak Keonjhar:
Selection is based on a career marking system:
- Matriculation: 30% weightage
- +3 Graduation: 40% weightage
If two or more candidates have the same score, the older candidate will be given preference. A selection committee, chaired by the BOO, will propose a panel of three candidates for approval by the Collector/Sub-Collector.
