IB ACIO Exam Selection Process Overview: The Intelligence Bureau (IB) Assistant Central Intelligence Officer (ACIO) Grade II/ Executive exam selection process is detailed as follows:
Selection Phases:
- Tier-I: The first phase involves a Tier-I Exam comprising 100 objective type Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs). These questions are categorized into 5 parts, each containing 20 questions, with each question carrying 1 mark.
- Tier-II: The second phase consists of a Tier-II Exam, which is a descriptive type paper carrying 50 marks. This paper includes an essay section (30 marks) and English comprehension & précis writing section (20 marks).
- Tier III/Interview: The final phase includes a Tier III or interview process. Candidates participating in interviews may undergo a Psychometric/Aptitude test as part of the interview evaluation.
