    The APPSC Group – 1 Examination is structured in three distinct stages:

    1) Preliminary Examination: The Preliminary Examination serves as a screening test to shortlist candidates for the subsequent stage of the examination. It comprises one objective type paper. Minimum qualifying marks are established for candidates falling under reservation categories.

Minimum qualifying marks are set for candidates eligible for reservation.

    3) Interview/Oral Test: Candidates who have successfully appeared and qualified in the Main examination are called for an Interview, which carries a weightage of 75 marks. During the Interview, the board evaluates the candidate’s attitude and decision-making skills.
